Huawei is preparing to introduce the Band 10 fitness tracker to the Indian market within days, following its debut in China earlier this year. This new model builds on the success of the Band 9, which arrived in India in January and gained attention for its affordability and feature set.
The Band 10 aims to enhance users' health management by adding new capabilities such as stress tracking and advanced sleep monitoring. The device also features a refreshed design with an aluminium alloy frame, offering a more premium look while maintaining a price point accessible to a broad audience.
Industry insiders report the Huawei Band 10 will be priced below Rs 5,000 in India, aligning closely with the Band 9’s launch price of Rs 3,999. The company appears focused on delivering value without compromising on the device’s aesthetics or functionality.
Photos of the Band 10 reveal a design language similar to the previous generation, including a rectangular AMOLED display and a physical button centered on the right edge. The fitness tracker is expected to come in several colors, including blue, green, and purple, with straps that match the dial color.
The Band 10 expands on the fitness features of its predecessor by integrating comprehensive health monitoring tools. These include stress level detection and a new sleep heart rate variability metric, which provides deeper insights into sleep quality and patterns. It supports more than 100 exercise modes and tracks key health indicators like heart rate, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), respiratory rate, and abnormal breathing.
The device sports a 1.47-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 194 x 368 pixels and a pixel density of 282ppi. It pairs with both Android and iOS devices via Bluetooth and is rated water-resistant up to 50 meters, making it suitable for various workout conditions.
Huawei claims the Band 10 offers up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge. With the always-on display feature enabled, battery life decreases to around three days. The device reportedly reaches full charge in approximately 45 minutes.
The Indian launch of the Huawei Band 10 is anticipated this week.
